Born Rupak Lama on the village of Thulopakhar of Sindipalchok district in fall 1985, he excelled in music while attending his high school. Inspired at 16, he picked up his first guitar at Ideal English School, where he joined a music club. Always a fond of western classical music, he learned guitar to play his favorite tunes. However, he began his music career at the age of 18, regularly performing alongside with his buddies. All of his buddies were more into rock and alternate music. This lead him to join local alternate band called "Power Slave". With "Power Slave", he belted his way towards music performing in various concerts organized in his local areas at Jorpati, Kathmandu and nearby places, during festival occasions such as Dashain and Tihar.

He also played in school programs with his fellow students from music club. Currently, Rupak is pursuing his studies in medical science in California, taking classical guitar courses side by side.

He takes music as his passion and defines it as a pattern that flows in tones of life. Meanwhile, he is sustaining his music carrier with “The Vibez".

In between album and band, he puts his hand in learning more music in school.
